About Stephanie Wallace
More than 25 years ago, Stephanie founded an educational enrichment program that she led for more than two decades, serving students with a wide range of academic needs.
Writing has been a particularly important part of Stephanie’s work. Over the years, she has helped students develop stronger writing skills, find their authentic voices, and communicate their ideas with clarity and confidence. Today, that experience informs her work with students on college application writing, including personal statements, PIQs, and supplemental essays. She believes the strongest application writing is not simply polished—it gives admissions readers a genuine understanding of who a student is and what matters to them.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has worked with students and families at many stages of the educational journey, including academic planning, school selection, college counseling, and transfer advising.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her work has been the opportunity to build long-term relationships with families. Many students she first met as younger learners have returned years later for guidance through high school and the college admissions process. Families who once sought academic support for one child often return when younger siblings reach the next stage of their educational journeys.
Wallace College Counseling brings together Stephanie’s experience in education, writing, and college admissions to provide thoughtful, individualized guidance during an important and often complicated stage of a student’s life.
Stephanie believes that every student's path is unique. Her role is to help students and families navigate that path with clarity, confidence, and informed decision-making.
